In "A Visit to Heaven and Hell," the character of the king seems like someone we all know. It's hard to believe that the late Mostafa Mahmoud did not live through 2011, as he masterfully crafted the dialogue between the king and his demon. In this particular part, he addressed many of the questions that have puzzled humanity since ancient times, such as: Is man predestined or free to choose? He argues that man is a breath of God's created spirit and is therefore completely free. So why do we find one person to be an oppressor, another a scholar, and a third a creator? He explained this by stating that God presented His beautiful names to His creation; whoever chose "The Compeller" became an oppressor, whoever chose "The All-Knowing" became a scholar, and whoever chose "The Originator" became a creator. The author possesses a distinctive satirical style and an inexhaustible imagination.
