I have completed fifty, the first fifty years of the first man's life before the hymns. I have completed them as they should be, for I am entirely within them. I know the abundance of grey hair that hails another, unapologetic world, and I know the sagging that tears at firmness in the game of life. For sagging, there is a lute whose stature bends, compelled into submission. Most importantly, I know firsthand the decline and relaxation of ambition hidden in other titles, spent with imaginative generosity... I know how to transcend the limits of logic with the guile of a mind that has conspired with the creativity of revelation. I know how to evade the inevitability of old age, which finds solace in the end through a final resistance, supported by a profound creed, its intuition innovative, withdrawing from the sensory world to approach another... to align ourselves with an awakening that travels with eternity as another substance... to return as an anthem nearing a secret for which the world's written text is composed. And I wander through it alone, as serene as a lantern of thought touched by the urge to sing and cry out, like a notion that belongs to life, yet stumbles at the peak of its ascent in its early flight, only to be confined by it.
