God has bestowed upon our nation (the Muslim Ummah) the honor of being the best nation that emerged for humanity. It is the nation whose glories history could not fully encapsulate, as it ruled the world, crafted heroism, and led humanity. However, circumstances have changed from the times of our ancestors. We have become followers instead of leaders, with our blood being the cheapest, and our lands occupied. The author is pained by the position of this nation in humiliation and disgrace, prompting him to search for flaws in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet and in the history of Muslims to clarify them to people in hopes of empowering this nation again.
