The cat cleverly tricked the ogre into becoming a mouse, which the cat swallowed immediately. The palace then belonged to its lord. The king was amazed by the palace and gave his daughter in marriage to the young man. The young man lived happily ever after, wealthy, while the cat with the boots became a wise advisor, living in luxury. And so, the cat proved that intelligence is sometimes more valuable than gold.
