This module measures the electrical activity of the heart and is based on the Sparkfun AD8232 Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor, a reasonably priced board. This electrical activity can be output as an analog reading and charted as an electrocardiogram, or ECG. ECGs can be very noisy. To help get a clear signal from the PR and QT intervals, the AD8232 Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor functions as an op amp. For use with ECG and other biopotential measurement applications, the AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block. Small biopotential signals, such as those produced by motion or distant electrode placement, can be extracted, amplified, and filtered using this device. The heart rate monitor AD8232 displays nine
