The three microphones in Buds Z2 will be used for active noise reduction and a better design that can better withstand wind. IP55 certification protects the headphones from sweat and water, while IPX4 certification protects the charging box. The buds will use basic AAC and SBC because they support Bluetooth 5.2 but lack sophisticated audio streaming codecs. Elevenmm drivers are responsible for the sound. A 40mAh battery powers each bud, and a 520mAh cell powers the case. The box can be charged from 0% to 100% in 90 minutes, and it can play for up to 27 hours when the noise-canceling feature is enabled or 38 hours when it is not. The buds get a decent five hours of playtime with ANC on and seven hours without the case.
